Advanced techniques in the external internal application of rush coats, mono coat cement plasters and pigmented decorative plasters, were presented to the senior management of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning – Building Maintenance Directorate in Muharraq.

The event was organized by Gulf Markets International W.L.L. Building Material Division the presentation aimed to showcase the latest application techniques will help construction companies in Bahrain to replace traditionally used laborious hacking and chipping methods.

Techniques presented included the application of rush coats on concrete without chipping on sandblast, It can also be used on smooth concrete walls and ceilings, Mono coat cement plasters and pigmented decorative plasters, which can be applied internally and externally on blockwork and prepared concrete surface.

Senior management present during the event from the Ministry of Works included Huda Mirza Abbas Salman; Director, Building Maintenance Directorate, , Redha Husain – Chief Supervision Section, Other executives present were Subah Abdulkhaliq Al-Subah, Chief – Planning & Engineering Section, Alawi S Hadi Al-Mahfood – Head, Maintenance Support Group and Bryan Toledo – Senior General Engineer.
